If you want an old fashioned cafe experience, come to Connie's. Joe and Connie will make you feel at home. The banana splits are to die for. And you can get ice cream treats in so many flavors. Burgers,hotdogs,and good old fashioned food. Breakfast served all day. Try the scrumptious shakes served in any of the ice cream flavors. Oh,and old fashioned drinks like a Shirley Temple,Roy Rodgers,Malts and green river.

This place sells Cascade Glacier Ice Cream, from the Oregon Ice Cream company out of Eugene... its SO Good... Must try it. I had Strawberry -- Yum.. and my wife had their Lemon Meringue Pie Flavor - Very good. The guy who helped us out was very friendly and fun. Worth the drive or walk down the street. Skip Baskin Robbins and come here.

Huckleberry and chocolate ice cream were yummy yummy yummylicious. It's an old timey type cafe/diner feel with the black and white tile and red. Ice cream served in old fashioned glass ice cream sundae dishes. Staff were super nice. It's also run in coordination with a thrift store and sells local hand made jewelry as well.

My family and I have been to Connie's several times over the last couple years, and we absolutely love coming here. Joe, one of the owners, always has a big smile for my daughter, and will chat with her about anything she wants to talk about. And that can be quite a feat with a talkative 10 year old! The food is good, and the portion sizes even better! They don't have a deep fryer, so no fries, but the sandwiches, burgers, omelets and other food items are delicious. I love that they hand-make the milk shakes and floats, and I have never had a complaint about the food and service here. It is where my daughter always asks to come when she is in line for a special treat. Overall, a great family place! I would definitely recommend.

The man who works there is very nice. Lots of dry humor! The breakfast was not too bad. I had the waffles with strawberries and whipped cream. Batter was a little flavorless but the strawberries hid it well. My fiancé had the French toast with eggs and sausage. I wasn't sure if it was French toast at first but he said it was good. Cheap! Was a $13 breakfast with tip for both of us!

The owner is somewhat strange but very entertaining . 1950's throw back diner. Lots of ice cream flavors. My milkshake was thin, grilled cheese was great.

Happened to be in Forest Grove - what a cute little downtown area - and stopped in for an ice cream. Feels a bit like stepping back into the classic era with it's red booths and stools at the high bar. The service is so comfortable and friendly; we ended up spending more time here than expected, just chillaxing. It'll be the place to stop for a coke float the next time I'm in town.

First time at Connie's, the restaurant is very clean and bright inside. Looks like a 40s or 50s soda fountain. The food was good and reasonably price. But they don't have French fries on the menu, which is disappointing. Nothing better than a burger and fries. Will be back to try the fountain drinks and the ice cream.
